On July 14th, the 2026 Golf Fore Cancer fundraiser was held at the Antigonish Golf and Country Club (AGCC).
The two groups that benefitted from this fundraiser in 2026 was the Cathy’s Place Cancer Resource Room at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital and Antigonish Palliative Care Society.

In previous years, about 84 golfers would partake in this fundraiser, but this year, a record-breaking number of 100 golfers took part. Donna Robertson, one of the founders and organizers of the annual summer staple for more than a decade, …described reaching the century mark as “especially fitting” considering the AGCC is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
